A Wonderful Sound

More commonly referred to as "The Boston Movie,"  A Wonderful Sound is a documentary about the BHS band trip to the Heritage Festival in Boston over spring break of 2006.  It was filmed mostly by Luke, carrying around a camcorder with him for the entire trip.  It documents all the aspects of the trip, from the actual performance, to the dance, tours, hotel, and bus ride, among many other things.  The Movie was filmed entirley in Final Cut Express, and is approximatley 20 minutes long.  It is narrated by Joey Daigneault, a native Bostonian.

Smoke Signals

"Smoke Signals" Is a documentary and art film about the design process of a student preparing artwork for the Visual Arts Classic composition.  It was filmed on a Canon GL2 by Luke, documenting Robin Sheldon's graphic design problem for the VAC and the process of completion.  The movie was edited completley in Final Cut Express.

 

The Samfomercial

The Samfomercial was created as an homage to the great person of Sam Johnson.  A mock infomercial for a fictional Sam Hotilne, Many of the teachers and students of Burlington High School give testimonial to how Sam changed their life.  "He helped me remember my anniversary!," "He helped me write my dissertation on physics!,"  "He cured my leprocy!." The Samfomercial is a simple movie, about 90 seconds long and edited in iMovie.

 

The Music Department Promotional

This movie was commisioned by the Music Department at Burlington High School as a promotional to get new students to sign up for music classes.  Made in the style of a 1950s educational video, it's comical promotion for the music department involving about 50 different students, as well as the entire, orchestra, band, and choir.  This movie was edited in iMovie.

 

Beethoven!

Created for a German Film festival, this movie was filmed and edited entirley by Luke and Zach in a single day.  Sitting around and watching the other entries,  Luke and Zach decided to challenge themselves to create a movie in a single day capable of placing in the contest.  Filmed during the school day, edited after school, and submitted the following morning, The video won second place.  Among other videos that had taken weeks to produce.  The video is about a fictional situation where Beethoven smashes his head in a piano cover and hallucinates that he is in modern times.  All the dialogue is in german.  (The winning video of the contest was filmed by another group but edited by Zach)
